A quality jersey made of some quality fabric shouldn't get a phone that wet from sweat. Even in the hottest days when my jersey is wet, the pockets aren't that wet. It's certainly not enough to do any harm to a phone. I ride every time with a phone and never had a problem in all the years since small cell phones came out.
