Yes, the Black Prince is an excellent advancement from the older yellow Swissstop pads and it really helps to keep the heat levels down. On a personal note we have also worked a lot on the development of our new Blue Ice pads and seeing the development first hand was really cool to see how many different compounds were tested to go along with rim material. They were tested for dry and wet stopping power and modulation, heat dissipation, and also making sure they wouldn't squeal (unless you do a panic stop coming down a big mountain). I know that Swissstop did a lot of the same testing in the development of the Black price (but of course I didn't get to see that first hand).
Do your blue ice pads work on Gigantex carbon rims in the rain? I haven't found anything that I will trust with those rims on 15%ish downhills yet.
