You may want to carry a light rain jacket like one of these
Storm jacket. They will help hold your body heat in so you stay warmer. If you do not like the jacket idea then I would say go with Underarmor "cold weather gear" under your regular jersey. It will keep you warm and you will stay cool up to around 75f.

If you are part of a team then you may want to bring a sleeping bag and a couple pairs of sweats to keep warm and get some rest when you are off the bike if you will not have the luxury of a motor home. Bring a few pairs of socks so you can dry your feet between rides. Also, if possible, have a second bike on a trainer so when your turn to ride again gets close you can get warmed up a bit before heading out.

I realize that 50-60F is not very cold, especially during daylight. I just thought maybe thru the early morning hours it may get chilly in just shorts and a sleeveless jersey. I don't get cold easy at all, as I work outdoors year-round, and i've lived in the northern midwest most of my life. If anything the heat is more bothersome for me.

We're doing the whole campout deal so i'll have a tent, change of clothes, bonfire, etc. Should be a blast! I guess being my first night ride I was just curious what others do. I intend to switch out of my riding gear between laps to letr everything stay dry, and will have sweats to stay comfy in between(appx 1.5 hrs between laps). Also extra riding gear.

I don't have any UnderArmour so i'll stick with shorts/jersey, and if it gets a bit cool, i'll have a sweatshirt and riding tights I can add.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Thanks
