IMO, carbon braking is purely a form-over-function design for clinchers. The Mavic wheels are an absurdly expensive nod in this direction.
How do you like those wheels? And what hubs did you source with them? The pictures look real good, but I wonder how the bond/finish at the alloy/carbon junction look, and more importantly, how they ride.
