i enjoy weight lifting way too much to ever be a serious endurance athlete. short course tri's give me something i can do without trying to look like a stick figure. ill never be really good at any of the 3 sports individually, and im fine with that. i like the variety of training and overall fitness benefits. along with that variety comes the ability to do more activities. im currently training for a team running race in the desert next month, i will be joining my dad for an organized century ride a month later, and ill add in some half-marathons and maybe a crit or 3 during the season. it keeps it fun for me.
