Thanks for the replies, i dont have a combination that would give me the same gear but i have options a little higher or lower. I try to keep cadence then upshift as i start revving to high (kinda like a manual trans on a car). I will say i am not too comfortable with the gears almost like i just learned how to drive a standard trans again.

Possibly silly question but are you supposed to shift under load? or should i let up a bit during shift?

For what its worth i ride on the drops most of the time (75%) and the remainder on the hoods.

Not sure on the cranks, etc... i'll have to look those up but i was fitted on both bikes; although, they have different geometry.
