The Masi is an aluminum framed bike with what appears to be a carbon fiber fork, maybe lighter than a steel frame, but usually not as compliant a ride over rough pavement as steel. IMHO, the asking price is within the range of FMV. Make sure to check the brifters out carefully and that all the shifting works as it should, because the combo levers are very expensive to replace and some are not repairable.

However, if "tank" in your handle has any reference to body type, I'd suggest looking for a steel frame bike.
