You don't need to change your FD. If you are on a budget, keep the 105. I would choose Rival shifters over Apex, as the price difference is usually not significant, and where you may not notice a difference, the front shifting on Apex feels cheesier to me than on Rival.

And having the Force crank is awesome, and is the best weight/ money compromise from a Force group. You will see many builds with Rival FD, RD, brakes, and Force crank and shifters.
