Bikes: 1996 Litespeed Classic, 2006 Trek Portland, 2013 Ribble Winter/Audax, 2016 Giant Talon 4

I commute on all of my bikes. Not a one is worth less than $1k. Some days I take my Litespeed with full Dura-Ace and handbuilt wheelset.

A lot of it depends, too, on where you live. Here upstate in Rochester, I'm fine with it. If I lived in NYC, then maybe it would be a different story.
