Well...Amarillo has many faces. LOL I happen to live in a historical neighborhood and work downtown, so all but about four blocks are on brick streets (which are pretty, but bumpy) and it is quite tranquil. I probably wouldn't enjoy my commute so much if it was across town by the mall or something. And yes, it's pretty hot...I'd say 90-105 F from April to September, but it's also pretty dry here, so that helps. It's just that darn wind that gets you!

gudel's city looks really nice. We have a few ponds and small lakes here, but that's it. The funny thing is, my next door neighbor has a boat in his front lawn (you can kind of see it in my first pic) and I can't for the life of me figure out why!
