Spring through fall, I commute 4 and 1/2 full round trips/wk on my only bike. Last year I had a $900 Al CX bike, this year I have a $1550 full carbon road bike. Having a safe place to store the bike indoors and supportive bosses/coworkers makes things a lot easier.
