The Masters club in Wellington puts a big focus on TT's - I've done a few of their's. And my club does a few a year as well. There's some great courses in the Wairarapa. It was the 25km TT in Whanganui at the Club Nationals. Broke 40km/hr there but haven't done it for a 40km TT.
If I can ask, how much speed/time was modifying your zinn into a TT position worth? I've just purchased a set of tt bars to modify my road bike with until I can get a TT specific frame.

Won't be at the Flyer - but 250 days till Taupo
From what I've seen, the best chance of keeping a specific group together at Taupo is if they all share a common goal time (i.e. 5:00) and have a stronger than neccessary rider who is functioning as a pacer. Very effectively demonstrated this past year by the Gordon Mccauley Coaching group and Mt. Eden Cycles who both put out strong riders that were pacing clients for sub 5:00. As soon as you have riders who are prioritzing a PB/PR over a specific goal time it becomes very difficult to keep the group intact.

I'll see you in the start chute.
