southbound, there's a hole in the fence and you can go under the railroad tracks and bushwack up to i-5. it looked kinda dubious to me. i was gonna ride back to san clemente metrolink and take the train, but a tourist gave me a pitying htfu look and said she was gonna climb up to i-5 so i went too.
They do not only look serious they are. It is their land and it is not really even California. It is Camp Pendelton. Bushwhacking is not an option. When they close it you pedal on the 5 until they open it again
