Aww, C'mon. If it's just about safety, then INSTRUCT the newcomers properly, rather than letting them come along and then just yelling at 'em AFTER the fact.
Personally, I think that anyone who can't call a bike a toy (even if it' a $12K Venge) takes themself far too seriously. Hey, if ATVs and snowmobiles and jet-skis can be toys...how much more the lowly bicycle?
