I had some nice riding today on the Hooligan, and I had to go to a 48T front chainring and improvise a chainkeeper to get the gearing up as I wasn't able to assist with the 42T I had. Much better. I also went to a heavier tire with more cushion - a Maxxis Hookworm on the front and back.
