the French Berthoud company has some in Carbon fiber so as to keep both wheelspray and weight down..

and I dont care for round grips, any more, after trying Ergon grips, and their comfortable palm support..

this one includes a carbon fiber Bar End http://www.ergon-bike.com/us/en/product/gs2-carbon

GS1 is w/o bar end

& flatlands the 36t chainring seems un needed , you could put a 46 on there,
and the shift between the 2, 50-46 would be a snap.

Paris Roubaix is not a hilly race, they use a 46-53..
That is what I needed, even yesterday tried to come up with a way to make those work (bar ends) with Treks line of grips. Thanks so much, consider them ordered they look sweet. I do have to ride a lot of start & stop traffic, and use my smallest chain ring a good bit. Also I'm not a real strong rider, and have a back & knee that will act up, if I push to hard. Needed a fresh set of eyes looking at it, love those grips.
