He's wrong, it's actually about 0.7 degrees, but over half of that warming has occurred since 1979. Sure, it's an inexact science, you can't go back a 100 years ago and get representative measurements from various parts of the globe, but still, something alarming is definitely happening, there's no denying the trends.

Smug people are particularly risible and ripe for satire when they're wrong.
