try working on your balance by veeeeery slowly decelerating to a stop. then, try to hold yourself up as long as you can.

other than that, also try learning the responsiveness of backpedaling. practice pushing backwards on the pedals and see how much force it takes to move/balance your weight.


also as you get better with this, practice rocking back and forth by pressing forward/back on the pedals. eventually you will get better and will rock back/forth less and less until you're doing a motionless trackstand.
