This will be year 2 of running it as a organized ride. I did it for 3 years with mini mart support. Bend is great for riding road and Mt. I have another favorite ride that is a 100 mile road ride from home to East Lake at Newberry Crater just southeast of Bend. I meet my wife there with our camper. Switched out the Mt bike the next day and rode 50 miles home on single track. The picture is looking south from the rim trail open to hiking, and bikes.
The trail follows the skyline rim from the peak at 8000'
I liked your FB page, and I'm gonna recommend it to some friends of mine out there. Just too good to pass up.
BTW, here is a look at what the pigtails out near Mt. Rushmore look like. This is in the day where they'd bore through a mountain and build something like this just to make it entertaining ... and it was!
