Lol ... no doubt! And you know, since I am wearing street clothes in that pix, we must have gone to the KOA first, then the Wagon Wheel. Funny ... that's not the way I remember it.

Speaking of some unexpected spots. I was driving back from Tucson to NC and had been on the road for hours..........starving for something to eat but in that part of the world it's just you and sagebrush. I think this is in Monahans, Texas but some of the best beef brisket I've ever eaten. The green beans and mac & cheese weren't too bad either. My trusty bike mobile got in the picture as well. People thought I was crazy driving it back and forth across the US with 500,000 miles on it but my plan was to just leave it wherever it decided to lay down. I had that van so loaded with my daughters stuff I had to use the side mirrors for the trip out. Amazing vehicle.
I love places like that! I had a business trip in Tyler Texas some years ago, and drove all over creation looking for their world famous BBQ. I never found it! I found it near Oklahoma City, though. At a place called Stevenson's BBQ. I ordered the sampler. Let me tell you ... I can eat prodigiously when I want to, but I was only able to finish half of this:
