I have been wearing PI shorts for a while and they seem decent. I am in the market for some new ones. I have read a lot of posts here on the bb. In shopping around on the web, it seems that there are a number from aerotech, ecycling, nashbar and others that can be significantly cheaper than many higher end shorts. If I go with a higher level, (maybe around the $100 mark) will I notice the difference in comfort or are some more pricey because of their newest technology and the cost of marketing?
I have no problem spending if it is truly worth it for comfort and performance. At the same time, I don't want to spend more just for a nice logo. I don't really have the money to buy numerous pairs just to try them, so I am curious to hear of riders experiences.
I agree with Brian R. Also, the type and duration of riding you do should certainly be a consideration.
