Sometimes yes...sometimes no.

I love the Performance Elite bibs. I've had recent iterations of Sugois, Giordannas, PI anI my hands down favorite (regardless of cost) are my Elites. My typical ride is 50 - 60 miles Saturday and Sunday with short 10 - 20 mile after work speed workouts.

I've been getting about a year (6,000 miles) or so out of a pair.

Of course, YMMV.
