I've tried a lot of the years. I've learned never get anything less than PI because cheap ones aren't as comfortable, don't hold up, and PI's are a much better value (last night I looked at the PI's I took off and the tag is Fall 2006). If you ride several hours at a clip, Assos are the way most people go.
