your comparing apples to oranges...I had a Ti frame before my current Carbon and after my C-dale. The ride is very different more compliant Ti is bombproof and rides very smooth softer more forgiving ride. Old or not as long as it is in good shape and fits go for it....I sold mine because it was no longer as cool as a newer carbon bike. I wish I kept the bike.
