To be fair, even back in the 80's and 90's a lot of shops did not have the tool to face an American style BMX BB, nor did they have the tool to press in new cups. I worked at a shop that did not sell a lot of hig end BMX, but we certainly worked on a lot of them just because we had the right tools.
