I had a talk with my friend Hector at my LBS yesterday. He said that BB30 bearings, because they are press fit, WILL creak. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them. He looked the BB on my CAAD over and said it was well lubed and the bearings were tight - don't worry about the creaking it's bound to develop. Keep it cleaned and lubed, and it will be fine.
