Took me a couple of tries to get mine done, one side I had to wrap and unwrap a couple of times. FWIW that was on butterfly bars, I have wrapped plenty of drop bars in the past. Take your time and don't be afraid to stop and rework if necessary. Definitely will give you something out of the ordinary to set your bike apart.
