I took a business trip to Europe in November 1982 and brought my wife (professional artist and amateur ballerina, for whom Paris is perhaps Mecca), who really enjoyed our week in London, weekend in Brussels, week in Munich, and week in Paris. When not at work with our European technical sales reps, applications engineers, and customers, I was busy climbing the Notre Dame towers (highly recommended), St. Paul's dome, the Eiffel Tower (first flight only; anything higher was closed), and several other famous monuments.
