Hello, I recently stumbled upon a craigslist ad for an S-Works Venge that is very enticing. I am rather scared to pull the trigger because I do not know if the bike is genuine or not. I just sent an email to the poster asking why the bike is being sold and the serial number of the bike.
To me the frame looks correct, but if anyone can help me confirm the validity of the bike, I'd be very happy.

If the seller replies with the serial number, I will call up Specialized and ask them if it is valid. Are there any other questions I should ask, or anything else I need to do? When buying it I would go with a bike mech and have him inspect it, but is there anything I can look for the confirm the bike's authenticity?
