No new (modern) equipment for me. I also don't have any "modern" gear other than a Liberty Segurous jersey. I don't really consider clothing for cycling modern other than team kit stuff - it all wears out eventually. I have two Renault Elf jersey's that I'll wear only while riding my vintage Gitane's. The rest of the time it's black shorts and bright colored jersey's for visibiility and safety. I'm old enough now I could care less about trying to make a statement on the bike (i.e. modern team kits, etc). I want something comfortable and visible to drivers.
