Hi, interesting study of early 20th Century Americana..From the perspective that most machines that were designed and built by the icons of American manufacturing were very robust and well built. I guess back then it was more important to build in quality with a large dollop of value?...
This older stuff sure ages well, doesn't it?....
Hopefully the North American market will realize the terrible mistake it has made with off-loading to the off shore big box manufacturing houses...and bring jobs back to Americans and Canadians alike...IMO, Take care

Actually Colonel, that's a 1936 model 201-2. Amazingly well designed and durable machine. A blast to work on, if a bit more work than I planned on.
