I am pretty sure that the Austrian bike company Austro-Daimler-Puch manufactured this bike. Sears bikes sold during this time frame were made by them or Murray Ohio of the USA. I think that you have a Sturmey-Archer hub, because way back in the early 1960's they had a metal oil cap, which eventually changed to a plactic one. That is all the info that I can give you.
