This seems to be a very polarizing bicycle, lots of hate and and some love. Mine shows up today, and I will have to wait for my LBS to check it out. I have read of some spoke tension problems on other threads and I am lousy at wheels.

After that I will put my review over in alternative bikes, it really isn't a commuter or a mountain bike anyway. My girlfiend is pretty excited about riding this, and that is a good thing. She started doing pub cruises with me last year on my old schwinn beach cruiser and now wants her own bike, she doesn't like the frilly girl bikes.

For a good read on the walgoose beast I have found ratrodbikes forum to be a good place for reviews and tweaks.
