My stable:
Surly Pusgley with stock wheelset and a 5" wide winter wheelset.
Salsa Casseroll road/light CX/tourer with stock wheelset of semi slicks and CX wheelset of Rock N Roads.
Surly Conundrum mountain unicycle 24" x 3" Gazz tire.
Those all span a pretty good riding spectrum individually without a ton of overlap, which I like(and my wallet/hubby does too).
If I had unlimited money and garage space, I would have a regular Ti MTB full suspension, a cargo bike like a Big Dummy/Yuba Mondo for errands, a racing road/tri bike carbon fiber, and a cheap steel retro cruiser with a large front basket for beer runs/sandal Sunday meandering, and a BMX aluminum bike for jumps and messing around on dirt/ramps/picnic tables.
I would rather have all that than the van parked in that garage space but the damn kids think I need a vehicle they can ride in. Boo!
