Not yesterday... but usually as they are pretty shallow and not that hard to handle.

Riding up is harder.

I was heading in the other direction and wanted to see if I could get a half decent pic of the Blizzard... since the river valley is still pretty much frozen there is not a lot of good riding to be found there (yet).

A lot of people seem to like using the stairs that run down into the valley to hone their skills... this set is pretty popular although I prefer the little trail.
