Do any of you have non-cycling co-workers who make odd comments to you at this time of year? Some I've heard lately:

"Gettin the chain all oiled up?"

"Got your tires all pumped?"

"Is that a twenty six inch bike?" (They apparently learned about bikes from the sunday Sears flyer)

"I'm gonna buy a bike this year. I like yours, was it over a hundred dollars?"

And do forth. I know, tolerance. But really, do you have any of these? I give civil answers, I just find it odd. Every year at about this time,
same questions, or variants.
