Well I spoke with a cannondale dealer today who told me that cannondales are no more produced in the USA anymore since 2009-2010 but either in Taiwan or China. The American made Cannondales are recognizable with American Flag on the top tube with written "Handmade in USA." Maybe new frames are lighter, but the older frames have a better finish of the welds and were really well made. Does Cannondale still use Alcoa tubing?
