Whoa! You start out with non-racers and then jump to world class competition all in a brief paragraph. In between you mention "fast" tires costs money and wear faster - that's all relative because tires like Conti 4000S cost $35 each and last maybe 3,000 miles for the rear. Four tires (including one for the front) for $140 should get you 9,000 miles
