Yeah, I know how crop factors work, thanks. I say that because you're not getting everything that you're paying so much for - it's not easy to build a sharp, wide *and* fast, and the price tags reflect that. Lenses like the 24L and the 35L (and Siggy 35/1.4) are beasts of a completely different nature on a FF camera vs a crop - there is no crop equivalent.

Agreed. About 95% of my shots are taken using the Nikon 35mm f1.8 on whatever body I pick. For the price, a prime lens like that is amazing.
The Nikon 35/1.8 is a little different and I'd exclude from my statement as it's not really a wide lens - it's built specifically for crop camera, unlike those mentioned above.
