Thanks for the link Neil....not worried about the swap itself - I've had a few AWs apart in the last year or two and love their actual simplicity (in spite of appearing to be complex). The hub I have is an 80, with the innards of a 72....

I did go down though and clamp in the hub to the rear triangle of the AO-8, and squeezed together there is plenty of axle protruding, and the chain line looks good....what other dangers are there if I choose to just squeeze? What amount of spacing should there be?
