No, we get fresh Mexican chorizo...haha, I guess we get that from the meat counter too. However, Mexican chorizo is far more common, so you can usually find that on a tray, wrapped in plastic hanging out in the meat department. It's still fresh, put out that day. Spanish chorizo usually isn't out, you have to ask for it. Also, it's a lot harder to find at a normal grocery store - we usually grab it at AJ's.

Yeah, the Mexican chorizo we get is fresh, similar to Italian sausage...the Spanish chorizo is hard, similar to salami.
