Interestingly, the centerfold of the 1950 Norman catalogue features both the Rapide and the Invader. The the main differences between them were the wheels (26" on the Invader, 27" on the Rapide) and the tubing (The Invader has 531 straight gauge, the Rapide 531 double butted). Otherwise they were very similar. I'll have a matched pair if rhm doesn't win the arm-wrestling match.
