I've only been riding seriously for about 15 months. When I gave distance/elevation totals last year, I got quite a bit of grief.
Normally I just ride from home. I live in Chandler...if you know this area, I need to ride 15-20 miles before I start to see any kind of elevation. Heck, if I ride to Maricopa and back I can log 60 miles with probably 200 feet

Every now and then I will drive/ride, and need to do more of those. I drove to Power/McDowell a few weeks ago, did Usery twice, a loop through Las Sendas (with Hawes), and Bush Hwy (logged 2200 feet). But really have to plan those, -v- just going out the front door.
