FWIW my Brooks Pro Classic (smaller rivets, non-chamfered skirts) is shaped more like the black Pro pictured

I bought mine new in February 2012

What year(s) are your saddles and did you buy them new?

I must have good luck with Brooks saddles. I've bought 10 or so, new and used, and have never had a problem with them.
