When using road cranks as Pista cranks, be mindful that often, not always, the cranks may need to be filed (at the bolt lands) to effect a good chainline when used with a Pista hub, a shorter BB axle will be required as well. Some guys use the inside position with a standard road BB axle to get closer to the correct line, number of ways to do it, the hub can be a place to start, easier to adjust the spacing, remember track overall dim. is 120mm, old five speed spacing, one needs an old frame to find this.

For gearing? No lower than 66" and perhaps 79" for the "road", depending on terrain and what you see in the mirror.

165mm is typical track crank length.

There were no Super Record track crank arms, just chainrings, also Campagnolo moved bolt spacing from 151 to 144 as well.
