Bikes: A few

Got it put together

Well, I got this Koga frame and fork built up over the last couple days with parts I had on hand plus some from a donor bike. It is a 57 cm bike and will undergo some changes over time. Plan to switch out the stem for an adjustable one with a face plate (may need to use stem adapter), still have to mount the Nitto big front rack I have, the front mud plan is off at the moment - until I replace the toe clips with metal ones to allow room for the flap without toe strike. Third bottle cage will only be used for touring. It is currently set up with a 7 speed cassette, but I plan to change it all over to 8 sp. sometime in the next few months. So far, due to circumstances, moving bikes and parts around, etc., this is a very inexpensive bike; into it about $350 so far as it sits, including the XTR m900 canti brakes but not including the Nitto front rack that will go on it (which I also got for half price). Depending on what the donor bike frame set sells for, the costs could go down. Final cost will be under $450 for what I think is nice touring bike that I never could have afforded to buy new.
