Glad it's just road rash and not a broken hip! The DOT here painted a crosswalk right in the middle of a steep 180º switchback on a local descent. The crosswalk is where a mtb trail crosses the road. I'm pretty sure the mtb'ers didn't request it and I know the road bikers sure didn't. The DOT just doesn't understand cyclists.
