While it's not exactly new, it is not as well know that William's sells saddles (and other parts newer to their offerings besides wheels). After trying several different models from Selle Italia (SLR Flow and others), Cutter, Oval Concepts, and Forte, none of them were actually comfortable, and none of them offered everything I was looking for. They were all a compromise. Now, having a few rides on the new Williams Aurora SLC+ that I picked up recently, I just have to tell the world how perfect I think it is. It has it all; style, lightweight, flow design, and cost effective. I was so happy with it on my last ride, that I was actually smiling and laughing because I forgot it was there (that's how comfortable it is). I think one of the keys to my comfort is the 143mm width. I'm relatively thin and fit, but don't find saddles that are 135mm or less very comfortable. Similarly, I tried a 150mm saddle and felt it was too wide. Specialized makes a few mdels in 143mm - one is comparable to the Williams, but at more than double the cost! So if you're like me, and want a saddle with a cutout that's light and cost effective, you owe it to yourself to try one of these.
