Funny... not sure how that dupe post happened... used the quick reply and then had to get back to the task at hand. what would cause a post to be duped? SUE? (stoopid user error)

also interested to hear what others have to say comparing dual pivots to good oldstyle sidepulls on roadies. I've never made the swap on any bike I've ridden for any time after that. Trying to compare from one bike to another with different wheels is difficult for me.
Shimano as the 'big ugly monkey' might be a little tough on them. They certainly have been consistent in good marketing of their 'innovations'. Something I wish Suntour had been better at. Its nice to see other companies trying again to offer options in the components area.
