PDX Bicyclists. OMG! (PDX)
So I am driving to work this AM and ahead of me is this bicyclist blowing through the red lights. I patiently wait, us usual, for the light to turn green for me. Finally, I'd had enough. I caught up with the bonehead bicyclist and blew by him through the red-light that he was running. Whoo-hooo. We get upto Broadway and he pounds on my passenger fron window, in which I roll down. He says you Fu*king ran that red light! I said I decided to follow your example. Why do you think it's OK for you to run the lights and expect everyome else to not get agitated watching bikes blow lighjts. So then he says he's part of the "Bicycle Alliance" who are exempt from the traffic lights - he says we just need to look and go! I said you keep doing that and you're gonna make a nice hood ornament.

Has anyone heard of this? Some "Special Rules" for bicyclists? Anyway, he's wrong. Thankfully, there are some great bike riders but this example wasn't one of them.
